Greetings SunDolls Alumni, Family and Friends!

I am excited to announce several new things the USF SunDolls are doing!

So many of you have asked for apparel for mom’s, dad’s, alumni, etc…and now we have it! We are offering t-shirt’s in dad’s sizes, a child size SunDolls’s uniform (soooo cute!), alumni sweats and clothing, and more! Included is an order form. Please look it over and order quickly! These items will make great Christmas gifts! All of the items include tax and any money earned will go into the SunDolls account to help with SunDolls activities. Join us in Lot 6 before the game for tailgating! We will have a tent set up 2 hours prior to kickoff in front of the stadium for all forthcoming games. The girls will use the tent as their “homebase” before games. They will be selling and signing their calendars, all apparel will be available, and we’ll have munchies! For alumni, we will be selling some old uniforms. Do we have the uniform you wore in college?? Please stop by!


Homecoming events have been moved to Dec 3. So, we have decided to make a weekend of it! It will start with a Friday night get together and continue on Saturday. All current SunDolls will be present as well as the coaches. All former SunDolls are invited as well as friends and family of all former and current SunDolls. Please see invite enclosed and remember to rsvp quickly to save your spot!

News and facts:
• SunDolls began in 1975 as the Bullettes
• We just found out the results from taping for the 2006 NDA competition. We have prequalified at 10th place!
• Over half of the SunDolls have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• The SunDolls name came about after the SunDome received its name
• We are trying to start a sanctioned alumni group for the SunDolls

Come support the team at the UDA Division 1A National competition. Competition is January 14-16 at the Disney Wide World of Sports. The entrance fee in the past was $25 per person. In case you cannot make the competition, the girls will perform their jazz and hip hop competition routines at the basketball game on January 5th vs. West Virginia.

Ole Miss Rebelettes

The Ole Miss Rebelettes are the ONLY dance team at the University of Mississippi. The Rebelettes will do all of the home football and basketball games, and will compete in the spring at NDA competition in April. All members will participate in football and the team will be divided to do either competition or basketball season. If you have any questions, please contact the coach through email with subject Rebelettes at caseyfranco@hotmail.com

Fans can watch the Rebelettes perform with the band at the pep rally an hour before each home game on the Grove Stage!

Tryouts are the weekend of April 22 - 23, 2006 for the Rebelette Dance Team.
